Save Forests

                                                    Our NGO’s “PIL” to
Hon’ble Supreme Court for saving the forests in India.

We are pleased to share that our NGO's petition “PIL” (Public Interest Litigation) to save forest has been accepted by the Hon’ble Supreme Court's Central Empowered Committee (CEC). In response to our PIL, the Hon’ble Supreme Court's (CEC) has sent notice to the following concerned departments:

            1. The Ministry of Environment and Forest.

            2. The Principal Secretary (E & F), Government of Haryana.

            3. The Conservator of Forests, Gurgaon.

            4. The Senior Town Planner, HUDA.

            5. The Municipal Corporation of Faridabad, Haryana.

The panel consisting of five senior Hon'ble Judges of the Supreme Court has taken this matter very seriously and ordered the above departments to file report in this regard. Hon’ble Supreme Court’s concern has strengthened our NGO’s mission to boost our battle to save existing forests in India.

“Let’s Save the dying Forest”

On the occasion of the Earth Day our NGO's vigilant team had organized a massive campaign to save the dying forests in India. During the campaign students from Agamya Institute of Education, Holy Child Auxilium School and Ryan International School performed a “Nukkar Natak” (street play) to create public awareness to save our existing forests.

The forest land in India are getting rapidly destroyed by the land mafia. In front of everyone’s eyes the trees are being chopped, the water bodies are poisoned and tons of garbage is being dumped in the forests on daily basis.

There is no fencing around any of the forests in India and there is no safety for the handful animals. Illegal construction of roads, temples and slums are mushrooming. Furthermore, land mining occurs on a regular basis. Such activities poses a major threat to our ecosystem and the survival of human life.

The volunteers of The Earth Saviours Foundation constantly highlights some of the main issues:-

1)  Danger to our ecosystem.

2)  Raising natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis and landslides.

3)  Fear of nuclear war.

4)  Increasing air and noise pollution.

5)  Need for recycling and waste management.

6)  Need to implement renewable sources of energy.

7)  Need to save animals and natural resources.

8)  Deforestation and the drinking water crisis.

9)  Global warming.
