About Organisation

The Earth Saviours Foundation

The Earth Saviours Foundation (T.E.S.F) is an internationally acclaimed and recognized non-profit organization. Established in 2008 by Shri Ravi Kalra, The Earth Saviours Foundation has been dedicated to serving the underprivileged, providing a safe haven for mistreated animals, and making every possible effort to protect the environment. For the past 13 years, our team of saviours have worked day and night to ensure and uphold community welfare. We believe in not only uplifting and improving the lifestyle of the impoverished people among us, but are also stern advocates for environmental sustainability and animal welfare.

The Earth Saviours Foundation is registered under 80 G of the Indian Income Tax Exemption Act, making it eligible to receive support from various corporations across India, besides this, the general public’s financial generosity towards our foundation is also incredibly helpful in catering to our daily needs and funds. The Earth Saviours Foundation is recognized by the Indian Government, who have always treated us with the utmost respect, providing massive moral support and encouraging the development of our ongoing operations. In a span of 13 years, The Earth Saviours Foundation has rescued more than 15000 abandoned senior citizens, homeless disabled people, and deprived females.

Currently, our daily activities and functions are carried out through two shelters, one located in Bandhwari Village, Gurgaon, Haryana, and the other in Mandawar Village, Haryana. Our Bandhwari Gurukul is situated on the outskirts of Gurgaon, stretching across nearly 2 acres of land, comprising an old age home, medical centre, home for deprived women, an animal shelter, and a center for the differently-abled. We have a large community of senior, mentally disabled and bedridden citizens (between the ages of 18 - 70 years). Along with the socially and financially deprived people, the Gurukul hosts around numerous cows (residing in our gaushala), cats, birds, monkeys, and dogs, all living together in a diverse, and nurturing atmosphere. Our Mandawar Gurukul home accommodates an even larger community of the underprivileged and will soon become a home for nearly thousands of individuals and animals. Making our Mandawar village shelter home the world's largest charitable shelter home for the socially, mentally, emotionally, and physically disadvantaged.

Our project, Karmic Seva, looks beyond mere life, it aims to spread peace and positivity for mother earth’s departed souls. We have taken the responsibility of cremating more than 11,000 (eleven thousand) unclaimed and unidentified dead bodies. The Earth Saviours Foundation has ensured that their cremation and last rites are carried out with through prayers and the utmost dignity. These bodies had been rooting away in governmental and public morgues for weeks on end and were unfortunately not claimed by their respective families. We at The Earth Saviours Foundation with the help of the authorities, bring these bodies to the electric cremation centers, where Sh. Ravi Kalra performs their last rites.

Another important value The Earth Saviours Foundation upholds is the continuous and constant protection of our environment and animals. One of our most famous campaigns, "Do Not Honk", which was initiated by our founder Mr. Ravi Kalra, achieved the Guinness world record for pasting more than 1 lakh Do Not Honk stickers on car bumpers. The Do Not Honk campaign aims to reduce noise pollution by educating people about the environmental consequences of frequent and excessive honking while driving. The Earth Saviours Foundation also took an enormous step towards environmental development by pitching thousands of fully automatic solar halogens- LED fluid lights at Bandhwari, making it the village with the most solar lights in the district of Gurugram. With the help of our animal shelter and Gaushala the shelter for stray cows, we provide a nurturing and safe environment for animals by feeding, grooming and treating them on a regular basis. The Earth Saviours Foundation has also distributed more than a thousand bicycles to villagers, putting them on the path to becoming world's number one bicycle village.

We do not mistreat or discriminate between any residents of our shelter, including our animals, anyone residing at our shelters is recognized as a respected member of our diverse community. At T.E.S.T the residents are not treated as mere patients, they are instead viewed as equal members of the community, who greatly contribute towards the development of the foundation and its daily functions.
