Founder’s Legacy

Shri Ravi Kalra Ji

Karmayogi Shri Ravi Kalra Ji was a revered humanitarian and environmentalist who lived a life of sewa – selfless service. In 2008, he founded The Earth Saviours Foundation to rescue and care for society’s most forgotten souls, including abandoned elders, disabled individuals, and the homeless. With no resources, he built the first shelter home from the ground up. He walked the streets himself, treated the sick, fed the hungry, and comforted the dying. He was not just the founder, he was the heart and hands of TESF. Under his leadership, 25,000+ lives were rescued. Today, his mission lives on through the care of up to 1,300 residents, now led by his son, Sh. Jas Kalra.

More People, More Impact

Shri Ravi Kalra Ji’s mission reached beyond human care. He championed animal rights, launched awareness drives on noise pollution, and ensured dignified cremations for over 12,500 unclaimed bodies through his Karmic Seva initiative. He became widely known as the “No Honking Man of India,” leading India’s first anti-noise campaign. His impactful work earned him national awards like the National Award for Welfare of Persons with Disabilities and a powerful tribute on Kaun Banega Crorepati’s Karamveer episode.

His legacy reminds us:
“A single act of compassion can change countless lives.”

Selfless service towards humanity is the ultimate service in God Almighty’s eyes.” – Shri Ravi Kalra Ji

At The Earth Saviours Foundation, we believe service is more than charity; it’s about restoring life, respect, and hope to the forgotten.

TESF is an India-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating the most vulnerable, including abandoned elderly, mentally and physically challenged individuals, and trauma survivors.
