Since 2008, The Earth Saviours Foundation (TESF) has been committed to tackling some of the most pressing environmental challenges. One of our flagship initiatives, the “Do Not Honk” campaign, addresses the rising threat of noise pollution—a silent danger that affects millions across India.
Founded by the late Karmayogi Shri Ravi Kalra ji, fondly known as the “No Honking Man of India,” this mission began as a call to educate people about the harmful impact of unnecessary honking on human health and the environment. Today, under the leadership of Sh. Jas Kalra, TESF continues to expand this movement, encouraging drivers to embrace silence as a form of respect and responsibility.
Our vision is simple: create a culture of mindful driving where honking is a choice of necessity, not habit.
Every year, our Do Not Honk Campaign reaches out to thousands of drivers, commuters, students, and communities across India. Each encounter sparking awareness, empathy, and responsibility. What began as a small effort has today grown into a nationwide movement, inspiring people from all walks of life to join hands for a quieter, healthier future.
Our initiatives include:
Many of these campaigns have been carried out with the support of police departments, schools, corporate partners, and government authorities, uniting citizens under a single cause: reducing unnecessary honking for the well-being of all.
Through the Do Not Honk Mission, we provide continuous, free-of-cost awareness programs across India, including:
Everything we do is guided by the principle of sewa – selfless service and a deep belief that no one should suffer silently from preventable noise pollution.
This is Where Change Begins
For many participants, our campaign is the first time they truly understand the dangers of noise pollution and feel empowered to make a difference. What started as one man’s mission has now grown into India’s most impactful anti-noise campaign, recognised by the World Book of Records (London) and endorsed by leaders and communities nationwide.
Because here, being responsible is the only requirement.
