Late Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji was a renowned Karma Yogi, world traveler, social activist, and environmentalist, celebrated as the visionary founder of The Earth Saviours Foundation (T.E.S.F.). In 2008, Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji actualized his vision for community, animal, and environmental welfare by founding T.E.S.F., an internationally recognized non-profit organization. He started the foundation's shelter home from the ground up, personally going out into the streets to find disabled and destitute people, bringing them into his shelter, and serving them around the clock. Sh. Kalra Ji was deeply involved in the daily care of the residents; he changed their diapers, removed their maggots, cleaned their wounds, and fed them with his own hands, always expressing gratitude to God Almighty for the opportunity to do sewa (service). His shelter home has served over 15,000 individuals, successfully rehabilitating and reuniting many with their families. Today, the shelter home, which houses 1,200 people, is run by his son, Sh. Jas Kalra Ji, the acting president of the foundation.

His unwavering advocacy for the welfare and protection of the differently abled, elderly, impoverished women, and animals won him numerous accolades.

In 2019, he received the National Award from the Vice President of India, Sh. Venkaiah Naidu Ji, for his outstanding commitment to the welfare of abandoned and disabled individuals.

He was also honoured with the prestigious Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Award for his selfless humanitarian services. In 2018, highlighting his remarkable contributions, Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji was invited on the grand finale of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" by Sh. Amitabh Bachchan Ji for the Karamveer episode. Alongside Sh. Kapil Sharma Ji, this special 2-hour episode was dedicated to Sh. Kalra Ji's service to humanity, celebrating his life and the profound impact of his work. His story and dedication continue to inspire and motivate people across the nation and beyond, making him a true pioneer in social change.

Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji was also known as the "No Honking Man of India" after launching India's first 'Do Not Honk' campaign to reduce noise pollution from vehicular honking. This campaign set a world record by placing over one lakh 'Do Not Honk' stickers on vehicle bumpers.

His project Karmic Seva provided dignified cremation for over 8,000 unclaimed and unidentified bodies at electric cremation centers. Sh. Kalra Ji offered essential crematorium services, performing the cremation ceremonies himself.

Beyond The Earth Saviours Foundation, Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji led numerous initiatives addressing a variety of social causes. As the president of the Indian Amateur Taekwondo Federation, he trained national teams across various countries. A 4th Dan Black Belt and International Master-Instructor in Taekwondo, he provided unarmed combat classes for school children and soldiers, enhancing their physical fitness and self-defense skills at no charge.

His commitment to environmental conservation was evident in his battle to save India's forests, including filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court of India to protect forest habitats and their inhabitants.

Throughout his journey with T.E.S.F., Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji taught many the importance of women empowerment, environmental conservation, and respect for the elderly, advocating for the mentally and physically disabled as equals in society. His relentless efforts ensured that T.E.S.F. remained a strong force against cruelty and abuse faced by the underprivileged.

Sh. Ravi Kalra Ji's work and service to society will forever live in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy continues to inspire the T.E.S.F. team, who remain committed to his ideals, striving daily to provide new homes to lost souls and fight for the rights of the poor and underprivileged.
